Traditional elegance with plenty of space
This beautiful 2 pak kitchen located in Albury, features a one metre wide island bench that spans almost four metres. To achieve a reconstituted stone bench of this length provided a challenge as sheets of stone only come in lengths of approximately three metres. Neither Master Kitchens nor the home owner were keen to have a visible join that would have detracted from the beauty of the stone, the bench and spoil the look of overall kitchen. It was decided that we would incorporate a raised glass china cabinet, that also acted as a splash back for the sink, into the design. This allowed for the join in the stone to be hidden underneath the sink and behind the cabinet and gave the family a beautiful, three metre, unobstructed kitchen work surface.
An Australian bush palette
This charcoal coloured stone bench top with waterfall ends features 40mm Victorian Ash timber detailing that mimics the waterfall of the island bench. The splash back features a window to the garden running the full length of the kitchen bench. The joinery throughout the kitchen features Laminex natural finish Stipple Hemp to the base cabinetry and Honey Elm Riven finish to overheads and shelving. This is accented with Formica Deep Anthracite to kickers, fridge cavity and the wine storage area. No handles have been used in this kitchen to provide clean lines and further detailing has been added by the use of brushed chrome recessed rails to the top of all doors and drawers. This home can be viewed daily 12pm to 5pm at 5 Charlton Road, Riverside Estate, Killara just out of Wodonga.
Clean lines and clutter free
This stunning Albury kitchen in soft grey 2 pak with brilliant white stone surfaces, dressed with solid Victorian Ash timber and white leather stools, embodies Modern styling. Clean lines and no handles on soft close, over sized pot drawers contribute to this modern uncluttered look. The island bench features a hidden, pop up, vertical range hood that magically appears at the touch of a button and disappears to leave the surface clean and the view unobstructed. Minimalism provides maximum effect
This stunning kitchen located in Shepparton, designed in collaboration with the home owner, really met the brief. They wanted a minimalist look with maximum uncluttered bench space. This was achieved by completely removing the sink from the kitchen and positioning this, and the dishwasher, in the Butler’s pantry. A slim line exhaust was installed under the overhead cupboards and above the ceramic stove top. A uniform look was created by using cupboard doors of all the same size and these are all push to open rather than having handles. The island bench was completely picture framed with Essastone and the dark coloured kicker gives it the illusion that it is floating.
